**About the role**
Dulux Group has an exciting new opportunity for a National Category Manager.
The role is within our Lincoln Sentry business enveloping leading brands in the cabinet hardware and architectural hardware markets.
Reporting to Senior Category Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for strategic category management, taking both a short and long-term view to grow and evolve the respective category through a highly commercial, customer-focused, and insight-led mindset.
You will set the strategic direction for our category and sub-categories and efficiently utilise data to uncover opportunities and deliver recommendations to our customers. You will own an insight-led innovation process focused on category development through a strong pipeline of profitable NPD and innovation initiatives.
You will work collaboratively with diverse set of stakeholders across the Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, and Finance teams, as well as with key customers.
The role is based of Acacia Bridge, Brisbane.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement relevant category strategies and business plans
- Develop and manage pricing strategies for product categories that drive sales and volume while maximising profit
- Manage vendor relationships and agreements driving commercial outcomes for Lincoln Sentry
- Seek innovative and profitable new opportunities using the Stage Gate process for NPD development
- Work with Supply Chain to promote optimal inventory levels through accurate forecasting, management of SLOB and excess stock

**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated experience in a Category Management or B2B
- Experience in innovation, new product development and supplier onboarding and management is preferable
- Successful track record of delivering commercial outcomes
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
