Civil Labourers

Fuze Services Group is a Southeast Queensland company operating in the telecommunications and electrical sectors.

We are currently recruiting for a civil plant operator (excavator and grundomatt), civil labourers and cable hauling roles to work on telecommunications projects and the NBN N2P project in the Tweed Heads / North Coast NSW area. This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join an expanding team with a continual workload ahead.

Experience in telecommunications is not essential as training is provided. However ideally, you will have experience working in the telecommunications industry, with knowledge and an experience in Telstra pit and pipe networks. You must be able to work in a team and/or independently.

**Key responsibilities in this role will include but not limited**:
**Labourer (all-rounders)**:

- Installing telecommunications pit and pipe
- Rod, rope and Dig down and repair Blockages in conduits
- Installation of telco & Elec pits new & over existing infrastructure
- Using hand and power tools
- Spotting Plant Operators
- Cable hauling
- Adhering to safety measures onsite
- Read and interpret plans and BYDA

**Plant Operator specific**:

- Excavator operation for trenching
- Microtrencher operation for trenching
- Grundo matt operation
- Tipper driving and loading.
- Conduit laying and pit install

**Ideally, you will have the following qualifications.**

**Required**:

- Drivers Licence and transport.
- Construction white card
- Police Check within the last 12 months
- Physically fit, reliable and ability to work in a team environment.

**Desirable**
- RII excavator and plant operator
- MR drivers license
- RII locate and protect underground assets.
- Traffic Management (level 2)
- 1st Aid/CPR (Desirable)
- NBN Experience (enAble)
- Asbestos Awareness Ticket
- B Class non friable Asbestos Removal or supervise
- Pit and Pipe Underground Construction

**Salary**: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
