The Trade Marketing Executive has the primary responsibility to lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies to drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and support business growth. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is an integral role responsible for impactful trade activations within our Aesop stores and counters across Australia and New Zealand.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Drive retail success: Develop and execute innovative trade marketing strategies to elevate store performance, focusing on customer acquisition and increased traffic.
- Strong partnership management: Cultivate key relationships with shopping centres, department stores, and retail partners to maximize brand-aligned product placement and promotional opportunities.
- Effective event execution: Plan and flawlessly execute retail events, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner seamlessly with internal marketing, retail, training, and wholesale teams to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent brand execution.
- Data-driven optimisation: Monitor campaign performance, analyse sales data, and adapt strategies based on market trends to maximize impact and ROI.
- Brand stewardship: Act as a guardian of the Aesop brand, upholding brand values in all external communications and meticulously evaluating new opportunities.
- Marketing project management: Coordinate collateral production, manage budgets, and report on commercial outcomes, demonstrating strong operational oversight.

ABOUT YOU
- Proven marketing experience, ideally within a retail setting.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, demonstrating exceptional multitasking, time management, and organisational skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects with strict deadlines.
- A skilled collaborator working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interaction at all levels.
- Proactive, independent, and creative thinker with meticulous attention to detail and excellent judgment.
- Strong financial acumen to enable well-informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
