**Your role**:
This roles sits as part of the Community Connections Program, part of the larger Early Help Program and supports families where there are emerging needs and aims to prevent common barriers to families accessing services. Early Help supports families by providing information and referrals to help with parenting and other challenges and also offers group and peer support programs for families.

The aim of the role is to draw on the skills and knowledge of staff and individuals connected to diverse and/or CALD communities and families to identify and develop support that will meet community need.

**The skills you will use day to day**:
Partnering with the Early Help Coordinator to work with parents and families to strengthen parenting skills and knowledge, to access resources and links to other community supports.

Actively participate in planning and supporting the delivery of activities with the EHCCC which may include co-facilitation of evidence based group programs, peer and support groups.

Be active in identifying and developing relationships with Diverse and CALD communities and help inform and implement activities that meet the needs of the community.

Be willing to partake in training, workshops, mentoring and supervision to build knowledge, skills and confidence working with families to ensure that positive outcomes are achieved.

Ensure completion of record keeping in accordance with program guidelines.

Participate in data collection to inform detailed evaluation of the program.

You get an hourly rate starting at around $30 per hour plus 25% casual loading

Casual Position

Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.
