**The Role**:
As a Forklift Operator at Bureau Veritas, you will play a crucial role in the movement and handling of various samples within our laboratory and facilities. You will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating forklifts to transport samples to designated areas, ensuring their timely delivery for testing and analysis. Attention to detail is essential as you will be handling samples, maintaining the integrity of each item.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate forklifts to handle samples with utmost care and precision.
- Transport samples to and from designated areas within the laboratory and warehouse.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure samples are efficiently moved for testing.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of sample movement and inventory management.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

**The Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a laboratory or warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator's license or certification.
- Excellent understanding of forklift operations and safety protocols.
- Ability to handle delicate samples with care and precision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
