**About Paediatric Cardiology Services**
Paediatric Cardiology Services operate within both MonashHeart and Monash Children’s Hospital and Program. Inpatient care occurs predominantly within Monash Children’s Hospital and outpatient investigations are performed within MonashHeart. Outpatient consultative services are provided though both Monash Children’s Hospital and MonashHeart, with consulting at the Victorian Heart Hospital, Dandenong and Casey Hospitals. Outreach consulting services are provided at the Frankston Hospital. Day to day operational matters are managed through MonashHeart.
**A Day in the Life**
**About You**
You are a dynamic medical professional, described as enthusiastic and motivated to perform at your best every day, you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. What you need:
- FRACP or equivalent medical degree registerable in Australia
- Training in paediatric cardiology with sub-specialty training in paediatric electrophysiology
- At least 3 years’ experience at a recognized cardiology training facility
- _PhD, MD, or intention to complete a higher degree is desirable._
- Appointment to these position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
