**About the Role**:
This role supports biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration in the Glenthorne Precinct.
- **Project Delivery**: Plan, assess, manage budgets, and deliver conservation projects, including the Field River Restoration and Vegetation Management Plans.
- **Ecological Restoration**: Implement initiatives like riparian and grassy ecosystem restoration and cultural fire practices.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Engage with staff, volunteers, contractors, community groups, and Kaurna partners to support conservation goals.
- **Technical Support**: Provide ecological advice, develop monitoring protocols, and share scientific and educational materials.
- **Community Engagement**: Participate in events, public communication, and educational outreach.

**Contract**:
Contract for up to 3 years.
**Essential Qualifications**:
- A degree in environment, conservation or a related NRM is essential.
**Special Conditions**:
- Will be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
**Remuneration**:
PO2 $88,255 min - $97,667 max p.a.
