Fitter & Turner Apprentice

Do you want to get into an apprenticeship to set your trade career up and learn how to machine, fabricate, repair and assemble components? We have two amazing apprenticeship opportunities available in either a Fitter & Turner OR Mechanical Fitter trade for you in Archerfield

You'll get to work in a varied workshop with state-of-the-art equipment while being surrounded by other trades such as CNC Machinists/Fitter & Turners, Boilermakers and Hydraulic Fitters.

**_These are both entry level roles, school leavers are also encouraged to apply_**

**Duties Include**
- **Measuring and machining metal to extremely accurate tolerances**:

- Assembly of hydraulic equipment and repair of construction equipment attachments
- **Operating manual lathes & milling machines**:

- Operating and programming CNC machinery
- Learn basic welding skills
- Workshop based

**Preferred Experiences**
- An open mind and eager attitude
- Ability to follow instruction
- Mechanical aptitude
- **Valid driving licence and reliable vehicle**:

- Experience using power tools
- Do you have family in the trade?
- Good grammar, numeracy and literacy skills

**Duration and Conditions**
- Full apprenticeship gaining cert 3 in Engineering - Fitter & Turner or Mechanical Fitter
- Fulltime employment opportunities and permanent position
- High end state of the art facility
- Learning from multiple Tradesman
- **MUST have full permanent working rights in Australia**
