**Immediate Start**

Your role will be casual ongoing for 3 months with view to permanency, you will be part of the NSW team to correctly supply products as ordered by customers and branches. Monitor the picking of product, effective consolidation of product and the appropriate packing of products to ensure that they arrive at the customer’s premises in excellent condition.

**Responsibilities**:

- 50 / 50 role - 50% picking and 50% packing
- Load and unload containers and trucks
- Eliminate the supply of wrong or damaged product
- Ensure that product is stored in its correct location and has been labelled correctly
- Maintain the strictest possible security to ensure that no product leaves the premises without proper authorisation
- Ensure that all goods to be dispatches are correctly packaged
- Ensure that picking lists are completed prior to dispatch of goods. This will include the verification of type, part number, lot number, batch number and quantity
- Ensure that packing lists are printed correctly and dispatched with each shipment
- Ensure that collecting customer’s sign for the goods they collect
- Ensure that picking lists for goods being dispatched by freight companies have correct dispatch details annotated on them
- Cycle counting as required

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Forklift licence
- 2 to 3 years’ experience driving forklifts and working in an industrial, products offered organisation.
- Experience working in distribution, with a customer service focus.
- It is highly desirable the successful applicant has an understanding of the transport industry
- This is a fast-paced role, so the ability to work quickly whilst maintaining a high quality or work and being safety conscious
- High degree of accuracy
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge and understanding of distribution and transport industries
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Good problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated capacity to work to deadlines, schedules and guidelines with attention to detail
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- The ability to work independently and as a team member
