Solid Surface Fabricator

As a Solid Surface Fabricator you will be expected to accurately measure and cut for manufacturing, supplying and installation of projects.

Duties & Responsibilities: This position will include but not limited to:

- Use Hand router, panel saw, other power tools and CNC to cut and rebate benches and other items.
- Sanding solid surface to matte, semi gloss or high gloss finish
- Liaise with clients such as House holders, Cabinetmakers, Builders, Architects, Suppliers and Internal Clients when needed.
- Installation of bench tops.

Applicant MUST have:

- 5 year experience that included manufacturing and templating.
- Must be able to read plans/drawings accurately
- Must be able to problem solve, have an eye for details,
- lift heavy items.
- understand that you are working as part of a team, and that the ability to do so is necessary
- Manual licence
- Ability to communicate well.
- A white card - or ability to acquire quickly
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Able to learn by watching and doing.
- Be clean & tidy in appearance
- Able to clean up after yourself and others
- Be punctual & have a strong work ethic Overtime hours and after hours work as required

Culture & Benefits

**Salary**: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- MOOROOKA, QLD 4105: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Solid surface: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Manual Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
