An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced **Manager** to join our **Northern Centre Against Sexual Assault.**

**Details of Department**

NCASA is the regional specialist sexual assault service for the Northern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne (LGAs Banyule, Nillumbik, Darebin & Whittlesea), funded via Department of Families, Fairness & Housing (DFFH). NCASA provides:

- A 24-hour crisis care response to victims of a recent sexual assault, therapeutic counselling for past or recent sexual assault for those aged over 12, group work, advocacy, secondary consultation, training for professionals and community education and primary prevention initiatives.
- Therapeutic services to young people over the age of 12 years and adults, who have experienced sexual assault, whether past or recent, and their non-offending family members and friends.

**Details of position/position requirements**

**To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities will include**:

- 5+ years' experience managing an agency/team focussed on supporting clients impacted by trauma, with insight into the complexities of working with people affected by sexual assault and/or family violence
- An approved degree in social work or psychology and eligibility for membership of the AASW or registration by AHPRA. Post graduate qualifications in business/health service management will be highly regarded.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Extensive experience in networking, advocacy, negotiation and working in strategic partnerships
- Proven results in meeting targets and innovative responses
