We are currently seeking an ambitious, energetic, and results-driven Trade Account Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique blend of challenges and rewards, combining new business development and account management responsibilities. As a Trade Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing existing clients, identifying and cultivating new account opportunities, and expanding our trade business presence across the Northside of Brisbane. **Responsibilities**: - Maintain and strengthen relationships with our existing client base Identify and pursue new account opportunities to drive business growth Effectively manage and prioritize daily work schedule, ensuring regular contact with existing clients while also engaging in "cold calling" activities to attract potential clients Proactively seek trade opportunities that align with our business objectives Follow up on quotations and proposals to maximize sales conversion rates Develop and nurture strong business relationships with team members, customers, and suppliers Possess or acquire knowledge of building and hardware products to provide informed assistance to clients Manage and maintain client base information, ensuring accurate records of interactions and transactions Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Understand and interpret plans and specifications, facilitating accurate quantity take-offs **Requirements**: - Excellent negotiation, time management, and organizational skills Proven track record of achieving results and exceeding targets Strong knowledge of building and hardware products Experience in client base management Proficiency in written and verbal communication Ability to read plans and prepare quantity take-offs Positive attitude, high energy, and self-motivation **Benefits**: - Competitive remuneration package, including a motor vehicle, commission, and sign-on bonus Exciting career advancement opportunities within the company Significant staff discounts on a wide range of products Access to excellent employee benefits through health and well-being programs Enjoy a healthy work-life balance Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance professional growth
