From this passion you will take a leading role in the development and execution of strategic public relations, integrated campaigns, influencer engagement, activations, and content creation. Business goals, co-worker engagement, public trust and strengthening brand reputation will be at the heart of what you do. With previous experience in a similar PR role, you will be able to lead dynamic product launches, fun and engaging consumer campaigns and have a strong understanding of the complete media landscape with consumer journalist relations. You will have the ability to work with cross functional stakeholders, ensuring they are informed, securing their support and ensuring effective communication is disseminated at the right time and across the right channels. You are comfortable working in an agile environment, have a proactive attitude in problem-solving, and are hands-on.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will maintain strong media & influencer relations with effective and engaging commercial PR, supporting IKEA and the market commercial agenda & priorities. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Execute and implement the local integrated communication plan - with focus on commercial PR; and secure alignment with the global communication plan
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the market communication projects & media relations agenda
- Implement and execute media/stakeholder engagement strategies for reactive, proactive and activist communication
- In close collaboration and aligned with the Marketing team, secure the planning, execution and optimisation of earned media, as part of an integrated media approach to maximize commercial impact, drive business results and improve cost efficiency of results
- Monitor and analyse media to measure results as well as identify proactive opportunities and potential risk issues
- Work with stakeholder analysis and stakeholder management to be able to deliver to the needs of the business
- Develop alongside other communicators and tap into wider resources, i.e. social/digital, PR, stakeholder engagement, campaigns etc
- Be responsible for providing support and direction for communication around commercial events
