Mission

To manage and check the preparation of the excavation mud, in accordance with operative manuals and industry standards, before, during and after the excavation phase.

Main responsibilities

1. Monitoring and controlling all the plant operations

2. Verifying that the materials comply with the quality standards required by the project

3. Ensuring the safe operation and the productivity of the rig

4. Managing and carrying out the maintenance of plants

5. Drawing up accurate daily reports on production

6. Complying with the safety procedures and quality standards of the project

7. Ensuring order and cleanliness of the plant

8. Carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance of equipment

9. Informing the line manager of any breach concerning QHSE

10. Performing additional assignments per supervisor’s and/or project management’s

direction

11. Complying with and promoting the Code of Ethics, procedures and safety standards, in compliance with current legislation

Main Hard Skills

1. Knowledge of the desanding plant (O&M manual, technical specifications, components and spare parts, manufacturers, etc.)

2. Ability to perform assembly/disassembly, setup etc. of the desanding plant, including circulation lines, connections, ancillaries, etc.

3. Ability to operate and monitor desanding plant (automatic and manual controls,

troubleshooting, instrumentation, etc.)

4. Ability to evaluate properness of desanding operations based on technical requirements

5. Ability to evaluate and monitor the physical properties of slurries (hydration, sand

content,)

6. Ability to perform final cleanout of the plant and mud distribution pipelines

**Salary**: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Desanding plant opration: 5 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
