Dental Assistant/receptionist

We have a new opening available at Corio dental surgery to join our team.

To be successful in this role we are looking for individuals with the following skills and attributes:

- It is fundamental to be reliable, responsible, and efficient
- Must be well presented with a bubbly personality and great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Knowledge of D4w is an added advantage but not essential.

Responsibility/daily tasks would include:
Dental Assistant:

- Receive patients and prepare them for necessary dental procedures
- Prepare surgery for dental treatment with correct instruments/materials for use as directed by the operator
- Record findings from oral examinations
- provide pre-and post-operative instructions for patients
- clean and sterilize instruments used after treatment
- clean and tidy the surgery, and implement standard decontamination procedures for infection control
- maintain and restock dental supplies
- perform routine care and maintenance of dental equipment and instruments
- Perform chair-side assisting tasks with ease

Reception Duties:

- Manage patient databases/documents and create standardized organization systems. Processing and reconciliation of payments/accounts
- Should be able to lead/liaise and co-ordinate with our team of dental professionals
- Exceptional phone manners and ability to schedule appointments in line with productivity targets
- Should be able to perform administrative and reception tasks autonomously

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Dental reception: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
