Gotax Lawnton has a full time vacancy for a reliable, experienced, outgoing & motivated, administrative assistant for our seasonally busy, friendly, well-established firm.

You will be working in Brisbane's northern suburbs and will be supporting ouroffice manager and accounting team.

**Role Includes**
- Answering phones (5 incoming lines) & greeting clients
- Diary management & appointment taking
- Banking & post
- Scanning & filing via the digital filing system
- Lodging tax returns
- Liaising with clients and the Tax Office
- Receipting payments and balancing daily takings
- Keeping the office clean and tidy
- Answering queries (to your level of knowledge)
- Assisting with marketing and social media (Mailchimp, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.)
- Enabling the smooth flow of work through the office

**To be considered for this position you will need to**:

- Have Australian residency.
- Be well presented with excellent communication skills.
- Have confident customer service skills and an excellent phone manner.
- Possess advanced computer, typing, spelling and grammar skills.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and keep smiling.
- Have good attention to detail, multi-task well and have excellent time management.
- Have the ability to work autonomously, while also work as a member of a team that takes direction when required.
- Be willing to learn and improve yourself through further study.
- Have own car and current Australian drivers’ license.
- A Cert III or higher in accounting, business admin or accounts admin would be advantageous, but for the right applicant, a traineeship may be available.

Our office is based in Pine Rivers and has free car parking available.
