**About the role**:
Are you ready to kickstart an awesome career in the steel industry? We're looking for an apprentice to join us starting in February

**InfraBuild**has over 100 years of history in Newcastle, and this is your opportunity to start an **apprenticeship in the Mechanical (Fitter) trade.**Our program combines hands-on experience with TAFE study, offering rotations through different departments to learn from industry experts.

It's challenging but rewarding, with a supportive team and experienced mentors to guide you. This is your chance to be part of our dynamic, evolving business and help shape the future.

**About you**
We're looking for motivated, hands-on problem solvers who are ready to dive in and make things happen. Initiative and commitment are key.

As an InfraBuild Apprentice, you will need to be:

- At least 16 years old and have completed Year 10
- Safety-focused and eager to learn with top-notch listening skills
- A team player and mechanically minded with a process-oriented approach
- Able to travel to and from the site daily for shifts and TAFE as needed
- A little introduction about yourself and your future ambitions
- Why you want to do an apprenticeship and why you want to work with us
- Why you would be the perfect fit for this opportunity

Your resume should have information about:

- Your highest education level along with copies of your last two years of school or TAFE results
- List down any training/course certificates you have already or in the process of completing
- A letter from your employer or authorized person where you've worked or done work experience
