Food Service Assistants - BHS Catering
Part Time Opportunities

Grampians Health - Ballarat is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as a food services assistant and work within BHS Catering.
BHS Catering produce between 2700 - 3500 meals daily, supplying both Grampians Health - Ballarat and external clients including Meals on Wheels and Victoria Police.
Duties will include assisting with food service preparation, cleaning and other duties as required.

Successful applicants will possess a high degree of flexibility and initiative; have an eye for detail and a willingness to learn.

Applicants must possess a current Food Handling Certificate (HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices).

To be successful in this role you will deliver a high standard of work performance and have good communication skills. The ability to work well with others in the team is important, as is the ability to work without supervision when required.

Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practice and service delivery to our clients and their families within BHS Catering.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is a mandatory requirement for healthcare workers in Victoria, and as such, all employees at Grampians Health - Ballarat.

All employees must be willing able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask. Additional PPE requirements are role-dependant.
