Wingfield, Australia Diesel Exhaust Systems Full time

Diesel Exhaust System is a unique and highly reputable exhaust company, specialising in exhaust manufacturing & customisations for trucks. We are looking for an eager, dedicated, and motivated worker to join our team. This role will commence on a casual basis working Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day with the aim of full-time permanency.

**The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties**:

**KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Unloading deliveries, checking for accuracy against purchase orders, and inspecting goods for damage.
- Signing off on deliveries and updating inventory records.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory, including labeling, stacking, and storing goods in designated locations.
- Conducting regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Managing stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch according to customer or internal requirements.
- Ensuring goods are packed securely and labeled correctly for delivery.
- Coordinating the dispatch of goods to customers, including scheduling transport, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Updating tracking systems and communicating with customers or internal departments about dispatch status.
- Safely operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trolleys to move, load, and unload goods.
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on equipment and reporting any issues.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Following health and safety guidelines, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reporting safety concerns and participating in safety training sessions.
- Maintaining accurate records of all warehouse activities, including inventory levels, stock movements, and any discrepancies.
- Using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software to track goods.
- Assisting customers or internal departments with queries related to stock availability, order status, or other warehouse-related inquiries.
- Inspecting goods for quality, ensuring that only undamaged and accurate items are stored or dispatched.
- Reporting any quality issues to supervisors or relevant departments.
- Working closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Comply with operational & WHS policies.
- Other duties as directed by Senior management**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 37.5 per week
