**Your New Role**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Rental Manager to lead and grow our Sales & Rental team. This role requires an individual with strong leadership, mentoring, and sales expertise to ensure that processes, team performance, and customer relationships are optimized for success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Hire, train, and mentor staff to drive high-performance in customer interactions, hire sales conversions, and trade-ins
- Oversee and monitor staff performance against KPIs and conducting performance reviews
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance
- Maximize enquiries and ensure the completion of orders or hire contracts
- Preparation and pricing of tenders
- Manage CRM, track hire sales activities, and report on performance
- Drive business growth through marketing, prospecting, and customer visits
- Control department budgets, rental & sales targets, and inventory management
- Lead key account management and relationship building with customers, prospects, and suppliers
- Ensure health and safety protocols are followed across the department

**What you'll need to succeed**:
You will be a true people leader, with a strong understanding of the construction machinery market in sales and rental, who is ambitious and thrives on motivating and getting the most out of their team.
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in sales & rental management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team effectively
- Strong analytical and performance management skills
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
- Knowledge of hire sales processes and, inventory management and CRM systems
- Understanding of market trends and the ability to implement business strategies
- Ability to manage inventory, budgets, and departmental performance
- A strong leadership background accompanied by advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
