**Your Role**
Are you looking for a stable, secure career opportunity with an excellent culture, clean and safe workshop and great projects to work on? My client is currently looking for an experienced
**Fitter and Turner **to join their team in Brisbane.

You will report to the Pump Workshop Manager and will be responsible for:

- **General fitting/machining in pump maintenance, pump servicing, repairs, refurbishments**:

- **Welding, protective coating and painting**:

- **Hands on mechanical work - onsite and workshop**

**About You**
You can work under pressure towards tight deadlines, and tight Quality Control parameters. A proactive and a “positive can-do attitude is a must” in this role. A pride in your work and a thirst to learn and mentor others in the team, as they work closely and support each other daily. You will also offer the following skills and attributes:

- **Mechanical Trade Certificate - Fitter / Turner / Boilermaker**:

- **Proven experience within pumps, valves, mechanical seals servicing / refurbishment**:

- **Strong machining, lathe, milling, measuring skills**
