Press Operator Printing

We are looking for Press Operators (forklift desireable) Day/Arvo/Night shifts available

**Offering OVER TIME and long term opportunity.**

Immediate start your role will be as follows working for our large printing group.

**Your role as follows but not limited too**:

- Facilitate safety and hazard reporting
- Open communication with Printers/ Team leaders/ Managers
- Participate in Job Rotation
- Ensure casual & new staff follow relevant procedures
- Maintain work area in a clean and tidy manner

**Performance Indicators**
- Housekeeping
- Quality
- Advise team leader of absences
- Follow all safety procedures, reporting all incidents, accidents & near misses
- Punctuality

**Physical Requirements**:

- Standing/walking for periods of up to 12 hours per day.
- Must have the capacity to be able participate in any activity that involves repetitive lifting, twisting, lowering, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, holding or restraining.
- Must have manual handling capacity to be able to lift up to 20kgs unassisted and with assistance over this amount and pushing and pulling of product up to 20kgs
- Able to operate a hand pulled hydraulic jack trolley pulling and pushing weights up to 1000kg.
- Must have good eyesight not color blind; this can be assisted with glasses or contact lenses.
- Must be able to wear safety footwear, eyewear & hearing protection (all forms of PPE).
- Lifting above shoulder height is required.
- Must have sufficient ability to work on spoken instruction when eye contact with operator is obscured

**You must have the following**:

- Must be at work station in uniform and wearing correct PPE prior to commencement of your shift
- Ensure finished product conforms to quality standard. Has correct amount of wires, sections have knocked up, trimmed square, books not bouncing, stacked on pallets neatly
- Pallets are stacked as per pallet cards instructions.

**Salary**: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Huntingwood, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
