**About the Business**

Quill Petroleum & Services is a dynamic service station and convenience retail business operating in Hawthorne, offering fuel, convenience goods, automotive supplies and high-service customer engagement. The business is committed to growth, operational excellence and building a trustworthy community-focused retail environment.

We are looking for a Retail Store Manager that will manage store operations, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, stock integrity and team leadership. Reporting to the Owner, you will lead a team to deliver on performance targets and maintain compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring smooth store performance and customer satisfaction
- Supervise, train, and roster retail staff in line with company policies and WHS obligations
- Maintain stock control, including inventory management, stock rotation, and supplier coordination
- Implement merchandising, marketing, and promotional strategies to maximise sales performance
- Analyse store performance metrics including sales, profit margins, and cost control
- Manage cash handling, banking, and point-of-sale reconciliation procedures
- Ensure compliance with all fuel retail, environmental, and workplace health and safety regulations
- Liaise with the owner / director on business strategy, staffing needs, and operational planning

**About You**
- Holds a management related qualification preferably at least Diploma or Advanced Diploma level
- Minimum 1 year retail-management experience, ideally in convenience, fuel-retail or service-station environment
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing budgets and controlling inventory
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; capable of building and sustaining high-performing teams
- Excellent organisational ability with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment
- Flexibility to work shift-hours including early mornings, weekends and public holidays or as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
