**About The Dental Assistant Traineeship Initiative**

Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) has partnered with Jobs Victoria offering exciting opportunities to start a career in the public oral health sector and complete a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, along with the paid experience and capability to build your future career.

**The Role**

North Richmond Community Health has a supportive environment where staff are inspired through meaningful work and supported by colleagues and management. We prioritise an inclusive and positive working atmosphere at North Richmond Community Health.

You will need to have in-clinic work availability between Monday, to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm.

The Dental Assistant role involves:

- All aspects of chair-side dental assistance to dental clinicians.
- Supporting the delivery of person-centered dental care and excellent customer service.
- Undertaking general reception duties and administrative tasks to support the service.
- Working collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.

**About You**
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency
