What does the job look like?
- Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
- Ensure Cross Dock teams receive full and clear instructions surrounding the loading, transportation, and delivery of goods
- Co-ordinating timely and accurate communication for supply chain requirements between subcontractor, customer, and Linfox operations
- Assisting with various operational functions, where required - including, but not limited to allocating, cross dock / subcontractor management and customer service
- Assist in the development of relevant process and procedure and maintain ongoing reporting of operational and commercial metrics
- Meeting agreed KPI’s include service performance and ensuring that costs are with budget and contract expectations

- Previous experience in interstate transport operations or a combination of road transport and related Industry knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively across a range of organizational levels, from senior management to drivers
- Effective time management skills with a strong ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Ability to engage and maintain solid customer relationships through regular communication
- An organised and systematic approach to work, and high-level attention to detail
- Solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Heavy Vehicle regulations & Load Restraint
