Music academy in Lidcombe is seeking experienced and professional instrumental teachers to join our teaching faculty. We are looking for educators with expertise in piano, cello, violin, viola, and guitar who are committed to delivering high-quality music education. Our academy is dedicated to providing personalised music education of the highest standard. We specialise in preparing students for AMEB and Suzuki syllabus examinations while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music. We offer students regular performance opportunities through concerts and recitals in a structured and professional setting.

**The Role**

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality individual music tuition to students of varying ages and skill levels. Lessons will be conducted in person at our Lidcombe studio. Teachers will be expected to prepare students for AMEB and Suzuki examinations where appropriate and support their overall musical development. Participation in academy concerts and events is encouraged as part of our commitment to performance-focused learning.

**Selection Criteria Essential**
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching the selected instrument with proficiency in AMEB and/or Suzuki syllabus.
- A commitment to high standards of musicianship and pedagogy.
- A professional approach, including reliability, punctuality, and personal presentation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A valid Working with Children Check.
- An active ABN.

**Desirable**
- AMus, LMus, or a Bachelor of Music (Performance) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a structured music academy or school environment.
- Availability for regular afternoon and weekend shifts.

**Employment Conditions**
- The role is available on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis.
- Competitive remuneration of up to $60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Lessons will be conducted in person at the Lidcombe studio.
