**About the OPPORTUNITY**

We have a new opportunity for a Procurement & Subcontract Specialist to join our Maritime Sustainment program based at Osborne, Adelaide reporting to the Procurement & Subcontract Manager.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for forging strong supplier relationships, developing sourcing and tender strategies, negotiating subcontracts and overseeing contracts to ensure timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to secure the best value for the business.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and manage performance to achieve optimal results.
- Lead complex negotiations and finalise contracts to protect the organization's interests.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to reduce expenses.
- Manage the entire procurement process, from sourcing, tendering to contract management.

- Demonstrated expertise in procurement and supply chain management, including negotiation & full procurement lifecycle
- A talent for developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to maximize value.
- Talented in collaborating effectively & seamlessly with diverse teams
- Proven ability to drive supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Understanding of commercial contracts, payment structures, and risk management. Only include the essential requirements for the role
