Graphic Pre Press

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

- Manage the pre-press function
- Using Adobe Creative cloud to generate images, text, layouts and impositions for print
- Follow print jobs through the print process from start to finish
- Setting up artwork for lithographic, digital and dye-sublimation print production
- Ordering paper stocks / die forms / print consumables
- Digital Printing using the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C3080 (all training provided)
- Operating plate making equipment to reproduce images from film to printing plates, digital output devices and presses
- Evaluating printed proofs, checking and correcting them for quality
- Creating die forms & templates for new digital print ranges
- Manage the digital marketing
- Communicating clearly and confidently at all levels with customers, internal staff, suppliers & couriers on a daily basis

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE/HAVE:

- Fluent in English
- Relevant qualifications in graphic design and pre-press
- At least 2 years experience in pre-press management
- A portfolio displaying your design skills
- Must be computer literate with experience in MYOB advantageous
- Outstanding communication and time management skills
- Attention to detail, reliability and accuracy are essential as this is a position where other staff members rely upon your accuracy and competency.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
