**About the role**:
We’re seeking a vibrant, caring, and experienced personal care assistant—preferably female — to join one of our programs based in Lysterfield. In this role, you’ll be providing dedicated support to a young client with cerebral palsy, making a genuine and lasting impact in their life. Your upbeat and bubbly personality will help make daily activities enjoyable, engaging, and full of fun.

**Shifts available (but could be increased)**:

- Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 7.00am - 9.00am (shifts may increase after trial period for afternoons so must also be available from 4.00pm - 7.00pm).

**Responsibilities**:

- Travelling to our client’s home to assist with all aspects of care to ensure their daily lifestyle and needs are met.
- Experience working with minors.
- Help with mobility to transfer our client to school and activities.
- Administering medications.
- Assisting with personal care as required including potential showering, oral care and continence management.
- Provide person-centred care with a focus on dignity, safety and well-being.
- Maintaining clear communication channels and promptly reporting any changes in our clients' health.
- Community support ie activities of interest.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe living environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks, including making beds and cleaning rooms.
- Adapting care plans to address the unique requirements of each client.

**About you**:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or Nursing qualifications.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance or willingness to undertake one.
- Valid Australian Driver License
- Reliable and comprehensive insured vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
