**About the role**

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Regulation of Schooling Directorate at the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) as **Administrative Officer**. In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting the planning and delivery of regulatory programs for schools and education providers across NSW.

You’ll join a collaborative team, providing essential administrative services that help ensure quality education outcomes for students, while building your skills in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

- Providing efficient administrative support across regulatory programs and projects, including filing, records management, preparing routine correspondence, travel bookings and maintaining procedure records.
- Using NESA systems and databases to enter and check data, generate reports and certificates, and draft correspondence while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinating meetings and briefings, including booking rooms, distributing agendas and taking minutes when required.
- Contributing as an active team member by supporting daily priorities, assisting colleagues, sharing knowledge and participating in team projects.
- Experience delivering high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Well-developed organisational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Confidence in using technology, databases, and software systems to complete tasks efficiently.- A proactive approach to learning and adapting processes, with the resilience to work effectively in changing circumstances. Download the role description.
