**Full Job Description**
We are looking for qualified & experienced early childhood educator living in the Western suburbs who want flexibility in their work and life balance to join our growing organization to work as an Early Intervention Key Worker. If you are a teacher (preferred disability specialist teacher, masters) with experience working with children with developmental delay or disability and a strong working knowledge of child development, assessing children’s abilities and functioning, then this could be the job opportunity you are looking for.
The Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) thereapy support / Key Worker position offers the opportunity to work with children and their families to achieve their NDIS goals through best practice principals in early childhood intervention in the child’s natural environments. Working 1:1 with children and their families to help them to achieve their full potential.
Therapy is delivered in a personalised way through the ECEI key worker who may also draw on more specialized expertise, by referring and liaising in greater detail with other relevant professional (such as a Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, psychologist, or physiotherapist etc.) or even bring them in to visit the family at key stages of the process.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
**As a Key Worker you will**:
- Deliver therapy for children aged 0 to 7 years, in the child’s home and or community setting, using the ECEI Family-centred approach.
- Develop, set and review a Family Services & Support Plan for each child and complete required reports annually.
- Coordinate and plan supports with the child and family that reflect goals and strengths
- Use evidence based practices
- Deliver supports to children and families that lead to positive outcomes, utilising a transdisciplinary approach
- Draw on more specialised expertise, liaise in greater detail with the relevant professionals.
- Ensure that supports are clearly documented, coordinated, and communicated to families.
- Keep appropriate records /case notes, within expected timeframes that clearly document activities undertaken and ensure all documentation are comprehensive, factual and complies with, professional guidelines and policies.

**Essential**
- Appropriate qualifications, registrations and experience in the field
- Experience working with children with a disability/developmental delay and their families
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Valid Australian Drivers License, Car and insurance
- Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police Check
- COVID-19 digital certificate, or, an immunization history statement as proof of double vaccination and booster.
