**_ C&K Newmarket Community Childcare Centre_** is a 57 place Centre, providing quality education and care as a community-based not-for-profit Centre in Newmarket, Inner North Brisbane. We are proud of our home-like atmosphere which creates and maintains a warm and relaxed care environment, providing nurturing and rich relationships between our educators and families. We pride ourselves on creating a play-based learning environment and program that is developed in collaboration with children, families and the community.

We invite you to join our Newmarket team as an **Educator**. As a qualified Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing a quality care and education program in co-operation with the group leader.

Permanent Full Time - 40 hours per week with RDO

Or

Fixed term part time - 4 x 8 hours days. Monday & Tuesday (Toddlers) & Thursday Friday (Kindy)

You will need to hold, or be willing to enrol in and work towards
- **Educators**: Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card

If you are studying or hold a Bachelors in Education you will also be eligible for our Educator roles.

C&K will cover the initial and renewal costs of a Blue Card and Police Check for all permanent and fixed term contract employees prior to the commencement of their duties.

All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which includes a police check. Also, all C&K employees will need to have obtained their 1st and 2nd vaccinations for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
