**What you will do with us**:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chemical Processor/Compounder to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is a permanent role and will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor. This role will be responsible for accurately mixing, and blending ingredients according to specifications to create high-quality products.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Execute chemical batch processing operations, following standard procedures and protocols to ensure accurate mixing, and blending processes according to batch formulas.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, vessels, and work areas to prevent cross-contamination.
- Assist in quality control activities, conducting visual inspections and sample tests to verify the quality of produced chemicals, and documenting results accurately. Modify changes to data as advised.
- Handle and store raw materials safely, following safety protocols and material handling guidelines.
- Operate manufacturing vessels to mix ingredients as per work instructions and specifications.
- Monitor and adjust mixing parameters (e.g., temperature, speed, etc.) to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Ensure the pumping of approved batches into suitable containers.
- Maintain accurate records of batch details, including batch numbers, production activities, production rates, batch records, and quality control data.
- Assist in general housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and orderly workspace.
- Manual handling tasks where required.
- Always adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings and training.

**Skills and Experience**:

- At least 4 years in a compounding or chemical processing or a similar role in the manufacturing environment.
- Process or Chemical Engineering qualification (highly desirable but not essential);
- Knowledge of batch processing equipment and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow SOPs and Work instructions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy & quality
- Work as a proactive team member in a small team environment
- Understanding of Safe work practices and working safely at all times.
