**Food and Beverage Attendant - Hot and Spicy Kitchen (Chinatown, SA)**

**Full-time | Annual Salary: $71,000 - $75,000 (plus superannuation)**

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced **Food and Beverage Attendant** to join our energetic hospitality team.

**Position Overview**
We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented **Food and Beverage Attendant** to provide high-quality table and counter service to our guests. The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations on food and beverages.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.
- Prepare and serve a variety of handmade beverages, such as specialty teas, juices, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Manage stock levels and order beverages and consumables to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure all food and drink service areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Operate POS systems, handle cash and electronic payments.
- Assist in setting up and packing down restaurant areas before and after service.
- Follow workplace health and safety and food safety procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

**Skills & Experience Required**
- At least **2 years of relevant experience** in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Experience in **stock control and ordering** preferred.
- Ability to prepare and present a range of beverages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of personal presentation and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.

**Qualifications (preferred but not mandatory)**:

- Certificate III or IV in Hospitality or a related field.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
