Please note, we are looking for performers located in the Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Lake Macquarie and Central Coast regions of NSW, Australia.

Dream & Believe Entertainment are seeking enthusiastic performers to portray various popular children’s characters, including superheroes, princes, elves, mascots and more

We are searching for performers with a love of popular children’s characters, movies, stories, shows and theatre.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Reliable transport.
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a Valid Working with Children Check
- Clear criminal record
- Weekend availability

**Desirable Qualities**
- Singing, dancing and acting experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with children preferred, however as long as you are willing to learn, we are happy to train you to work with kids
- Familiarity with popular children's movies and TV shows

Children's entertainment will vary per event, but usually includes running games and crafts, interacting with children in character, photo and meet and greet opportunities, face painting, balloon twisting, tattoos and glitter tattoos, workshops, festivals and more Parties range from 1.5-3 hours, with festivals usually between 4-6 hours.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

- This role requires the completion of face character and party training which is five full time days, after which, you can start events. This training is unpaid and complimentary to your selection of this position. Please note whether you are happy to complete this training prior to taking on paid roles.
