Dispatch/pick-packer/storeperson Platinum Racing

Platinum Racing Products is going through enormous growth and as such we are seeking a motivated individual to join the team in **Tuggerah**, NSW.The position is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and packing automotive parts for shipment to customers both domestic and international. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The person will work closely with other team members to ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner, and labeling requirements are met.

- Forklift ticket (or willing to obtain one yourself upon interview acceptance).
- Previous experience in picking and packing operations, preferably in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions, packing lists, and shipping labels.
- High level competancy with computers, including some experience with handheld scanners and some experience in inventory management systems.
- Communication through multiple platforms including social media is essential.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 40kgs, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work Saturday mornings if required (not common).

Highly desirable additional skills:

- Procurement, sales, invoicing.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and their packaging requirements.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5 S systems.


Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately pick automotive parts from locations based on order specifications.
- Pack ensuring that all parts are protected and secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including packing stations, shelves, and aisles, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members, including production and sales, to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders or inventory.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Participate in inventory counts as required, and assist in resolving any inventory discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure compliance with established guidelines and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other designated personnel.

Salary will be negotiated according to experience, otherwise award wage applies.
