Casual (20 plus hours per week - flex with hours and shifts available)

We are seeking a professional and compassionate receptionist to join the team. Duties and responsibilities include:

- Ensuring the efficient operation of reception by effectively assisting all clients with bookings, payments and enquiries.
- Answering phones calls professionally and promptly.
- Successfully operating the practice booking management system (Cliniko) to process appointments, invoices and payments.
- Accurately and efficiently entering client information and records.
- Performing general office duties - word processing, filing, and preparation of electronic client files.
- Preparing treatment rooms for therapists and ensuring the practice remains tidy at all times.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and service standards.

About you
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office. Experience using patient management software is an advantage.
- Friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Ability to organise and prioritise a number of diverse activities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
- Proven ability to show compassion and respect.

Reception experience in an allied health practice is an advantage but not essential as training and support will be provided for those new to the role of receptionist. 20 plus hours per week is available across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Flexibility with hours and shifts times is an option and can be discussed.

As the roles requires on-site work, it is a condition of employment that the successful applicant is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or holds a valid exemption, as required under the Victoria’s current pandemic orders.
