**Disability Support Worker - Staff Required (Merrylands, NSW 2160)**

**Position**: Casual - Up to $43/hr + Penalties
**Location**: Merrylands, NSW 2160

Must be able to drive and must have an **SUV vehicle** due to client transport requirements.

We are currently seeking a **reliable and experienced Disability Support Worker** to support a client based in **Merrylands, NSW 2160**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the client with **daily routines** and encourage a structured, engaging day.
- Provide **community access support**, including attending appointments and recreational outings.
- Assist with **basic household chores** and ensure a clean, safe living space.
- Use effective strategies to manage **behaviours of concern** with professionalism and empathy.
- Support the client’s **emotional wellbeing** and encourage their independence.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the support team.

**REQUIREMENTS - CHECKS/ CERTIFICATES**
- Cert III or Cert IV in Individual Support, Home & Community Care, Aged Care, Disability Care or higher or willing to work towards
- Current First aid and CPR qualification or willingness to obtain within three months
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- COVID-19 minimum 3 doses
- Infection control training completed
- Manual handling training completed
- NDIS Clearance Check
- Current and Valid Working with Children’s Check
- Current unrestricted and full driver's license
- Own a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
