Our client is one of the leading beverage companies in its field, manufacturing one of the highest quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the market.

Conveniently located in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs (Derrimut), there are currently several vacancies including forklift drivers and machine operators within the production facility.

Day and Afternoon shift available

The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Operate forklifts OR production equipment
- Take responsibility for quality of product/process in assigned work areas and act appropriately to rectify issues as identified.
- Complete process area check-sheets, and compliance data collection accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage raw material inventory for specific process activities and report usage to relevant manufacturing co-ordinators for appropriate replenishment.
- Carry out routine process maintenance activities (Asset Care, Clean Inspect Lubricate) and work with reliability team members to ensure all equipment is maintained for optimum performance.
- Perform daily process area cleaning to maintain company compliance, GMP and HACCP standards
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation within a warehouse environment
- Minimum 2 years of machine operation within beverage, pharmaceutical, and / or associated industries.
- Experience working with labeller, filler and / or packer machinery would be looked upon favourably.
- Able to 'trouble shoot' issues and identify areas for improvement.
- A solid work ethic and good attitude towards your colleagues and work.
- Able to perform manual handling safely and correctly, including bending, twisting, stretching and reaching.
- Problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to multi task are all required traits.
