**Home Caring Tweed Heads** is a private organisation and a leading national team providing in-home disability care support with the highest standards of care.

We are currently seeking outstanding and passionate disability support workers who would like to be part of an organisation that lifts the standard of care provided.

**Your Role**:
Providing Supports to a 51 year old male with Multiple Sclerosis. His disability impacts his energy levels, awareness, decision-making, motivation, self-respect and confidence, resulting in poor management of his self-care and extended activities of daily living.

His disability impacts his functional engagement; he requires 1:1 maximal assistance from support to assist him with engagement in personal care and extended activities of daily living.

**Domestic Assistance/Personal Care/Social Supports/Community Access**

The role includes but not limited to attending to customers that need assisting showering/dressing, continence care/ domestic duties/ assistance with meals/ medications and diet.

**We are looking for**:

- **Physically fit
- Experience with MS or willingness to learn
- Hoist trained or willingness to learn
- Team players
- Good Communicators
- **Please be aware to be considered for this role you will need to obtain your NDIS Screener Check and complete the NDIS Screener Module "Quality, Safety and You" with the NDIS Code of Conduct.**_

**Essential Requirements**:

- WWCC - Blue Card
- NDIS Screener Check (Yellow Card)
- National Police Check
- First Aid and CPR
- Cert II or III in Disability, Individual support or related field from a nationally recognised provider or relevant experience.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: Up to $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (BLUECARD) (required)
- Australian driver's licence (required)
- First Aid & CPR (preferred)
