Firbank Grammar School is seeking a highly enthusiastic and dependable casual Swim Coach to join the Firbank Aqua-stars community
We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual with the desire to help our swimmers achieve success in our highly regarded Swim School. The role of the Swim Coach will be to assist the Director of Swimming with the development and implementation of the swimming program, which will cater for a range of ability levels from beginners to elite athletes.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in coordination and running the Senior School, Turner House and Sandringham House swimming championships
- Assist Director of Swimming with GSV Season, preparation of the school swim teams, selection of teams
- Assist Director of Swimming in developing and implementing School Swimming lessons for Turner and Sandringham House
- Liaise with the major stakeholders (school/club/staff) regarding their changing swim program needs
- Open and closing of all gates and facilities as needed
- Attend swimming club nights and weekend swim meets as instructed by The Director of Swimming

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum of a Swim Coaches and Teachers Association Development (Formerly Bronze Licence)
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- First aid and resuscitation certificate
- Must be able to work on ‘timeline’ and be able to function with multiple projects & tasks
- Excellent communication skills at all levels - swimmers, parents, public and swimming bodies.

**This is a casual role, commencing immediately.**
