The **Dispatch Team Leader** reports to the Dispatch Manager working on the PM shift 3pm to 11pm Monday to Friday.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Ensure GMP and Food Safety/Quality Management System procedures are followed.
- Check pallet labels : Quantity, expiring date, and store name are correct.
- Monitor pallet amounts & ensure correct numbers
- Oversee that the packing area is clean at the end of the shift
- Ensure that picking slips are correctly completed
- Check PPE is disposed of when the teams finish their shift
- Complete the end of the shift a report is sent to the Dispatch Manager advising of any issues
- Ensure housekeeping of the storage area is to standard
- Valid Forklift License
- Team Leader experience in warehousing or freight/transport distribution work.
- Training in logistics, or supply chain management will be an advantage.
- Good Verbal and Written Communication skills - to liaise effectively with the Dispatch and other departments plus external stakeholders.
- Developed interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach working with cross functional teams, and the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
- Positive and self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize work schedules, balancing a mix of practical and administrative work
- Well-developed problem resolution and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $65,000.00 - $69,999.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
