Pathology Collector

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Pathology Collector to join our clinics located in Epping, Hawthorn, Keysborough and Mernda

This is a modern clinic which has a diverse patient demographic and conveniently located with easy access via local/city roads and freeways. Also readily accessible by public transport and has onsite parking for patients and staff

Surgery hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

**Specific duties include;**
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients
- Collection of Respiratory Swabs
- Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens
- Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner

**Skills and experience;**
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience
- Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone
- Exceptional time management skills
- Flexible to work across different sites
- Sound clinical knowledge
- A valid Driver's License
- Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team referring, doctors, patients and other stakeholders
- Ability to work alone and participate in week day and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
- Basic computer skills
- Right to work in Australia

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
