Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
**Your Opportunity**:
The position of Registrar (Paediatric Intensive Care) provides direct medical care of assigned intensive care and high dependency patients under the supervision and guidance of consultant senior medical officers appointed to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
As an integral member of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unityou will:
- Support the provision of safe, highly reliable, and family-centred clinical services to children
- Partner in the patient journey by collaborating with primary and tertiary healthcare professionals, interacting with internal service providers, and connecting with patient care givers
- Shape an environment of clinical excellence through the active participation of clinical duties, quality improvement activities, and continued professional education and development
