**Department B (Production) Supervisor**

Department B manages the processing of the compost and all pre-production responsibilities as well as managing the daily sanitation of the farm.

**About the role**

The keys aspects of the role are as follows;
- Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly production plans and efficiency rates are met
- Resolving daily workflow issues ensuring efficient running of production lines
- Maintaining open and honest communication with departmental supervisor and the Production Operations Manager
- Assisting the department supervisor in accurate stock take and completing all paperwork including usage, received and weekly/monthly stock takes
- Assisting in SWP and risk assessment development
- Operation of machinery as per SWPs
- Ensuring appropriate staffing levels
- Assist in the performance management of team members (when required)
- Provision of support to departmental supervisor and Production Operations Manager with the operations in relieving areas as required
- Ability to work under limited supervision and independently yet also work well as part of a team
- Report all incidents, accidents and near misses in accordance with the WHS policy
- Compliance with all Company policies and procedures
- 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Must demonstrate positive leadership capability in addition to always modelling the Behavioral Standard and Code of business conduct
- Excellent communication

- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise competing tasks
- Commitment to Health, Safety and Quality policies and procedures
- High Risk (Forklift) & Front
- End Loader licence (preferred)
