Party / Event Installation Crew

Feel Good Events is a party decorating and styling company based in Ferntree Gully. We specialize in creating fun and exciting party themes and styles for our clients private parties and corporate events.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the warehouse to help prep customer orders with a range of party hire equipment, including dance floors, lighting, draping, furniture, and party props.
- Load and unload equipment from trucks and transport to event venues.
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of equipment on site, ensuring that everything is set up according to the design plan and timeline
- Move and position equipment as needed to ensure a safe and functional event space.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal safety clothing when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in event setup and installation, including dance floors, lighting, draping, furniture, and party props an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to lift equipment within the safe lifting zone.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot on site.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
- Most work is monday to saturday 9am - 5pm but we are looking for willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Would prefer people who can work **mondays, fridays and saturdays** at a minimum.
- Valid driver's license is a must as you may be required to drive automatic vans.

This position is based at our office in Ferntree gully and is not an admin role.
