**Seeking a self-starter, self-motivated Aerodrome Electrical Inspector to join the close knit team DON'T MISS OUT**
38 hours per week
Frequent travel and ad-hoc site work which may necessitate overtime
- Our client is a leader in the Aerodrome and Airport Services. They provide a ‘one-stop’ service covering all aspects of aerodrome and airport management, from engineering, design, and construction services to inspections, training, and equipment supply. They are seeking experiences Electrical Inspectors to join the team. Your role is to implement the revision of the airport master plan, the airport construction feasibility study and the environmental impact evaluation. You will also be supervising the construction of civil airports. You will be working within a company experienced in all facets of airport design and operation. Your role will report to the electrical Inspections Lead. You must be comfortable working away from Perth on a regular basis. Site work is ad-hoc depending on projects won and project timelines; generally, a 2:1 site roster is proposed but this may differ per site requirements._

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Provide a specialist consultancy capability addressing compliance of airfield lighting systems
- Conduct frequent inspections and reporting
- Build relationships with clients
- Supervise sub-contractors, particularly for civil works (footings, pit, and duct installation)
- Find faults in work and manage and schedule workload to account for changing priorities
**Skills**
- 5+ years’ experience after apprenticeship in a broad field of Electrical systems
- A grade Electrical Trade Certificate endorsed for Western Australia; other states desirable but not essential
- Valid Australian Driver’s License (Class C)
- Able to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Able to work autonomously and in a team
**Desirable Criteria**:
- A vocational certificate/diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline will be viewed favorably
- Previous experience in airfield lighting systems
- Experience in radiocommunications is highly valued
