This full-time, fixed-term (18 months) role will be responsible for the provision of professional administration & coordinating support to the Project Management Office (PMO) and the Engineering Projects team.
What you will contribute to:
- Assist with administrating purchase orders and invoices, ensuring cost allocation, and processing through accounts. This includes project initiation, administration and close-out activities.
- Assist with establishing and maintaining project control activities, including providing support for project planning, scheduling, cost and contract management activities.
- Collaborating with project team members by generating reports, statistical information, presentations and other documents in a timely
- Respond to requests for information and provide support to other departments and business units as required.
- Maintained document management system including version and revision control, maintained electronic copies of the project documentation, and combined company standards and document management system.
- Liaises with Projects personnel to maintain key performance targets and maintain KPIs for assigned activities.
- Reviews correspondence and assess actions required to ensure that responses are provided in a timely manner, including following up on responses from other areas within the
- Identify items requiring resolution and take direction from the line manager to resolve them.
- Meeting support including: Setting up meetings, preparing and distributing meeting agendas, minutes and correspondences, and following up on action items.

What you will bring:
**Essential**:
- Strong experience in a similar position assisting the Project Management team and/or providing Project Support.
- Experience in administration of procurement, contracts and invoice processing activities.
- Experience in administration of project controls, including; support for project planning, scheduling, cost and contract management activities.
- Considerable administration proficiency coupled with the ability to use initiative and exercise
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including building effective working relationships and liaising effectively with senior managers.
- Proven time management skills to effectively manage competing priorities and meet strict
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with attention to detail, including the ability to prepare written correspondence, including briefings and memos on behalf of management.
- Excellent computer skills, including the ability to utilise a range of information systems (MS Office including intermediate Excel)
- 2-3 years of experience working in project management, project control support or contract administration.
**Desirable**:
- Qualification in project management or relevant qualifications and significant experience.
- Knowledge and experience in SAP
- Proven experience working in an engineering or construction environment
- Experience working with project management software
- Familiarity with project management best practices and standards
