- Pay rate - $34.76 per hour + casual loading + superannuation

Reporting directly to the Community Worker Team Leader you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, well maintained and secure home environment for our Home Care Clients.
**Within this role you’ll be responsible for**:
- Executing the preventative maintenance program throughout our clients homes
- Performing minor reactive repairs on items as the need arises
- Managing the coordination of external maintenance contractors as required
- Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and our clients closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you’ll need
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- White Card holder
- Ability to work independently and be flexible
- Drivers licence and access to a registered and insured vehicle
- Trade certificate or Cert IV in Maintenance/Building services ( preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Hands-on experience with gardening services or handyman role
- Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
- Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
- Great IT skills
