What’s the job?

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will join a team of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we are here to deliver an exceptional living and learning experience for students.

This position is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds (hard surfaces), facilities and rubbish management of the Leura Campus. Your safety is our priority, and even if you will require to work independently, you will be part of a friendly community that looks after one another and supports each other.

On a typical day in this role, you will:

- Conduct scheduled routine cleans (daily, weekly and termly) and ensure the garden and grounds are maintained across all common areas
- Assist in the maintenance, improvement and renovation of the grounds areas (including the maintenance of our swimming pool)
- Use and ensure all equipment used is stored securely and cleaned after use
- Prepare the garden and grounds to be aesthetically appealing for everyday operations and special events on the campus

This is a Permanent Full Time (38 hours/week) position based in Leura, NSW.

To be successful in this position you will have:

- Experience working in a minimum garden, grounds position or a similar role, in a hands-on capacity.
- Knowledge of powered external cleaning tools/equipment
- Attention to detail and quality
- Initiative and commitment to achieve
- Problem solving and decision making
- A drivers license (essential due to the nature of the work - as you will have to drive campus vehicles and a golf buggy)
